Havan 

Throughout the years yagna's at the mandir/ashram have only taken place during Navratri and March/April in the month of Chaitra Navratri.

In 2019 with the blessing of Meldi Maa, it was decided, confirmed and announced that there will be a ten-year yagna (Havan) in the grounds of the Mandir/ashram.

It was decided to ask the main priest from Kashi to come to Babra along with thirteen other pundits and they would resign in the grounds of the mandir/ashram over the ten year period.

On the morning of the 6th March the main priest, the pundits, the volunteers and some committee members attended the inauguration of the opening new yaganshala.  The main priest and pundits blessed the main havan kund before starting the havan they done various abhisheks to Lord Ganesh, Mother Kail, Meldi Maa and Lord shiva, after that they constructed the first fire for the main havan and lit the yanga kund. ​

The main priest has given clear rules for the yagna. The yagna (Havan) would start every morning at 5:00 am. Ladies must dress in traditional Indian clothing and the gentlemen must dress in a Dhoti. 

The schedual of the havan:

5:00am- 6:00am - Abhisheks to Lord Ganesh, Mother Kail, Meldi Maa and Lord Shiva

7:00am-8:00am-Prayers and Devi Stuthi Mantras 

9:00am-9:45am-Breakfast

10:00am-2:00pm- Havan (yagna)

2:00pm-6:00pm Break 

6:00pm-7:30pm  Havan Arti and main Mother arti
