Our Events
Throughout recent years the volunteers and community members have showcased a variety of pujas and different events.
In 2015 the committee, volunteers, their families and members of the local community took part in a Maha Yagna called ekavan shaki pit yagna (translated: Great holy fire for 51 goddesses) the havan continued for 15 days. During the time of the yagna, the committee and volunteers of the temple also held a Devi Khata
in 2016 the committee organised to have a ladies-only Garba after the mandvo they also started to prepare for the three new temples also the committee started to construct the yagnashala for the 2017 Rudra Havan.
In 2017 the committee and volunteers arranged to do a Maha Rudra Havan for two weeks. The committee and volunteers constructed a yagnashala that was made out of straw on a later date the committee and volunteers constructed a new yagnashala
In 2018 the committee and a few volunteers opened and inaugurated three new temples: the shiva temple, the Sitra maa temple and the Naaga temple - prior to that they organized and showcased a khata related to Krishna, that spoke about Krishna's life and Krishna's teachings.
In 2019 the volunteers and the committee members conducted a Samuh Lagan (a group wedding) for twenty-seven girls from the village with their families of Babra.
In the year 2020, the committee announced that they would be building a new yagnashala and they would be a ten-year yagna starting on the 6th of March 2020 for ten years that will be continuously on going.
